This SOP determines the hardware to be used unless otherwise specified by a project team.

Cabinet Hinges

See also: hinge-placement for centerline dimensions and hinge count guidelines.

All cabinet hinges to be Salice brand; existing projects that used the Blum spec will continue.

Full Overlay

• C2PBAE9
• w/ 3mm plate- BAR3R39 * will leave 1/8” from end
• w/ 2mm plate- BAR3R29 * cabinet to cabinet
• w/ 0mm plate- BAR3R09 * will leave flush to end

Half Overlay

• C2PBGE9
• w/ 2mm plate- BAR3R29 * will overlay 5/16”

Inset

• C2PBPE9
• w/ 6mm plate- BAR3R69 * will leave 1/8” margin

These parameters are for 1/8” margins and are based on the hinge boring setup to leave a 4mm tab (Salice machine) or 21.5mm to hinge cup center (Blum machine).

If a tighter margin is desired the boring machine should be adjusted accordingly with the exception of the full overlay flush to end option

Drawer Slides

• All drawer slides are also to be Salice brand where applicable
• Push-to-Open Drawers- (must physically close drawer to positive stop)
  • Magnetic Release Device - DPMSNB
  • Retaining Catch w/Pin - DP28SN9
• Push to Open with soft self closing is ONLY Blum Movento with Tip-On add ons.
